Day Eleven

I was down at the London Bridge, and I snapped this real quick.

This is one of my most prized photos. Antelope do not usually jump, they are know for not jumping. There were two of them an they were trapped on the road between fences and they had to jump the cattleguard, there was no other choice, so when I saw the first one jump I was ready for the second, and this is what I got.

I felt like taking some black and white photos today.

We recently cut all our shurbs and bushes down, and I thought that this made an interesting picture.

This photo was taken in Wyoming a couple of years ago, about 30 miles from where our house was in Sinclair.

Weekly Project #1 - Cactus

Every week I am giving my self an assignment/project, and for my fist week I chose to do photos of the cactuses around my neighborhood.

Day Six

It's not a very pretty day out so for todays photo, I took one of my dog, Rags.

This was taken at a local Rodeo in 2005.
The rider was only 16 and had a broken arm, and he won the bullriding event.

My name is Samantha Rogers, and welcome to my photo project. I am an amateur photographer, and I have kind of lost my way when it comes to photography. I took classes in collage for three years, and I still love it, but I am just not taking many photos anymore. So I decided to give myself a photo project.


I am going to take at least one photo a day with my digital, and post it here. I will also post one of my past favorites every day. I also plan to give myself an assignment each week for my 35mm film camera, and I will post them each week also. I plan to do this for at least 3 months, then I will see how it goes after that. I hope someone can enjoy this along with me, and don't be afraid to let me know how you feel about the photos, good, or bad.
