Day Fourty-Three

Sorry for getting behind again, but I am still taking photos every day.

One of the places up the hill from us almost completely burned up, and this was my view. They had four fire trucks, 3 cop care, and ambuklance, the recuse fire truck, and several other recuse vehicles and people there. No one was hurt in the house, and from what I have heard the only that was saved was the boat and car.

Piranha 3D was shot here in Havasu this summer, and I got the chance to see some of it being filmed one day, and I snapped a couple of pics of Elisabeth Shue on set.

Day Fourty-Two

My dad was working on his boat motor to get the boat ready for sell.

Each year at the ACM's they have free concerts on Freemont Street, and it ends with a big headliner, this one was Gretchen Wilson. This is the crowd waiting for it to begin, there was literally no end going both ways down Freemont, and I was right up against the stage.

Day Thirty-Five

This is toady's photo, so that means I am back on track.
Be sure to look at the posts I have made today to see everything.

We were visiting someone today, and this little roarrunner came right up to, so I snapped a couple of pics of him.

Rodney Atkins at the ACM All-Star Jam After Party in 2008

Day Thirty-Four

The orange tree in our yard is in bloom, and anyone who knows me well will tell you that to take this picture with the bee in it, ment I had to control a major fear of bees to take it.

The animal in the picture is called a Maned Wolf, but is also know as the Fox on Stilts. This was taken at the Denver Zoo.

Day Thirty-Three

More flowers from the store.

Taken at the MGM in Vegas.
They don't train their dolphins, they play with them, and let them do what they do natrually.

Day Thirty-Two

It's just a spare tire we have in our yard

This was take in Wyoming in between Sinclair, and Seminoe Lake.

Day Thirty-One

The aloe plant is blooming quickly

One of my favorite shots of Trace Adkins.
I took this one in Rock Springs, WY.

Day Thirty

Some of the roses for sell at the store.

What truely makes this photo special is the story behind it.
There are three people in this picture, the bull rider whos rigging is caught up in the bulls, and two clowns/bullfighters. At the second rodeo I went to, that was put on by the same people, I met the fighter that is laying on top of the bullrider, and he bought the photo from me. He bought it because the rider he is laying on, to protect him from the bull, is his brother.

Day Twenty-Nine

The first full bloom on the cactus in front of our house.

Taken on Freemont Street in Vegas a few years ago.

Day Twenty-Eight

I took my dog outside and I caught this cute pic of him

This one was taken at the Wildlife World Zoo in Phoenix.

Day Twenty-Seven

The cactus blooms are moving right along.

At one of the local rodeos, they had the dancers do a show before they started, and everybody was loving this littleist dancer, she was so cute.

Day Twenty-Six

A growing palm tree

One of Siegfried & Roy's white male lions, in the Secret Garden at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino.

Day Twenty-Five

One of the plants outside the aquatic center.

This was taken at Out of Africa Wildlife Park. They have a show called Tiger Splash, where the zookeepers run around a pool with a tiger chasing them and the jump into the pool while the tiger jumps in after the toy they were using to get the tiger to chase them with. (Tigers love water so it's fun for them)

Day Twenty-Four

March 11th was set up day for the Art Guild's Spring show, so to capture the whole room I used the panoramic setting on my camera to get it. My camera stitches three seperate pics together to make one.

A Sun Bear relaxing in the sun, at the Phoenix Zoo.

Day Twenty-Three

Sorry I still haven't caught up, but I am going to get everything up today.

The bushes we cut back are starting to re-grow already

Julianne Hough put on a great show, if you get the chance to see her I recommend going. Taken at the Desert Diamond Casino in Tuscon on Aug 15th 2009.

Friday, March 19, 2010

Day Twenty-Two

A growing palm tree.

This one was taken at Yellowstone National park.

Day Twenty-One

Not much, but this is where I spend most of my time at work, in my checkstand.

Taken at a local rodeo, it's one of the best Bronc pictures I got.
I love it because they tend to grit thier teeth, and here it makes it looks like he's smiling.
